Staying on Hulbak Camping & Hytter is like living surrounded by nature and close to many opportunities for exciting activities. See our own Hulbak Top 12.

Summer

Directly from the campsite starts a culture and nature trail "Synarsvaet". This trail consists of several marked walking paths and is connected with trails in the mountains. Close to the campsite start 2 trails of the "Top 20" of Hemsedal. These routes are marked and described in a brochure. A walking map of "Synarsvaet", a brochure of the Top 20 and a general topographic (hiking) map is available at the reception. If you prefer to hike with one of us as your guide, you can also book a hike directly with us. Every Wednesday and Saturday we will hike with everyone who likes to hike! Next to hiking you can find many other activities in Hemsedal. Think about via ferrata, downhill racing, canoeing, elk(moose) safari, dog sled on wheels, visiting Ulsåkstølen, Hemsedal Bygdetun, Borgund stavkirke and Rjukandefossen. Remember that with the Hemsedal card you can receive discounts on various activities! We will have this card ready for you in your cabin. if not: just ask!

Winter

In the winter you can go directly from the campsite on to the prepared cross-country trail "Solløypa". This is connected with cross-country trails to Grøndalen and to the center of Hemsedal. Also directly from Hulbak, starts a tourskiroute to Leinenosi. Hemsedal Skisenter is 3 km away from Hulbak. Solsiden Skisenter is 5 km away from Hulbak. Four evenings a week you can enjoy eveningskiing. On Saturday you can already start at 7 am! Look for more information at Skistar.com.

Around the cottages and on the campsite are excellent opportunities for children to play in the snow and for sledging. Other challenges in the winter are: ice climbing, husky sled ride, winter via ferrata, snowshoe walking and paragliding.

 

In general

Hulbak Camping & Hytter is close to Hemsedal centre (3,5 km). There you will find supermarkets, a bakery, restaurants and a medical center. You can make beautiful car trips in Hallingdal: over the panorama road to Valdres or over Hemsedalsfjellet to the Sognefjord. On the Sognefjordcruise you get 15% discount with your Hemsedal Card!
